INTRODUCTION
============
Have you ever wanted to delete a directory with all its
files with one command instead of using RD and DEL continuously
and then finding out that there are hidden or read only files
that refuse to let you complete the RD command? ERD is for you!
ERD stands for Enhanced Remove Directory.
REQUIRED FILES
==============
ERD is distributed as two files. The files are:
ERD.EXE -The program
ERD.DOC -This documentation file
INSTALLATION
============
To install ERD, copy the ERD.EXE file into any directory.
Also remember to set a PATH to the directory you selected.
The recommended place for ERD is in the DOS directory of your
hard drive, usually C:\DOS.

RUNNING ERD
===========
The ERD program expects a directory name to be specified on
the command line. To get information on ERD, type "ERD /?"
Let us suppose that you have the following directory tree:
C:.
└───TEMP
├───TEMP01
├───TEMP02
│ ├───TEMP02A
│ ├───TEMP02B
│ └───TEMP02C
├───TEMP03
└───TEMP04
├───TEMP04A
└───TEMP04B
Let us also suppose you are at the "C:\>" prompt. If you
issue the command "ERD \TEMP\TEMP02", all of the contents of
TEMP02 will be deleted, including the sub directories TEMP02A,
TEMP02B, TEMP02C, and all their files. Normally, you should be
one level above the directory you wish to delete. In the example
above, you could be at the "C:\TEMP>" prompt and issue the
command "ERD TEMP02". Both will produce the same results.
